CLEAR is a prevention program to empower HIV-positive individuals to:
- Reduce transmission of HIV/STI’s.
- Improve quality of life.
- Teach negotiation & safety skills.
- Help adhere to medical care or drug regimen.
We provide Housing Deposit Assistance through the HOPWA grant and short term bill-pay assistance.
With an increase in COVID-19 cases in Mecklenburg County, vaccinated or unvaccinated, testing yourself and your loved one(s) is one of the best ways to prevent the spread of the virus.

If you are newly diagnosed with HIV or looking to get back into medical care, CLEAR is the program for you! Choosing Life! Empowerment! Action! Results! is an intervention and counseling program to empower HIV positive individuals. Receive up to $100 for completing all five one on one sessions. Must be eighteen and up to enroll.
